Good DJ’s are hard to find. You’ve heard the horror stories, late-
not showing up- insufficient equipment. There are thousands of DJ’s
running around claiming to be DJ’s of some sort and they all lack
in one or more of the following areas:
- Speakers and Amplifiers
- A limited amount of good quality records or cd’s.
- Reliable transportation or just plain transportation.
- Turntables or CD player.
WAIT A MINUTE!………… THESE TOOLS GO HAND IN HAND!
If you don’t have all you cant throw a party! Not only that,
you can have it all but it can be in terrible condition! Or
home stereo quality! “I only use top-notch professional equipment
like JBL, Peavey, EV, Denon, and Mackie and all my equipment
is in excellent condition. My rule is to always show up 2
hours ahead of schedule so if I forget anything or I blow
a fuse I have a back up plan”.
My motto is: “NO MIDDLEMEN” The savings are passed on to
you!
YOU HIRE ME, YOU GET ME
YOU CALL ME, YOU GET ME or I’LL CALL YOU BACK
“I have the resources and will travel to
any state in the southeast!”

-P.A. RENTALS AVAILABLE-
DJ Maxwell has been a DJ since the age of 14 when he started mixing
cassette tapes because he had no turntables, and following in the
footsteps of the best DJ in the area by the name of Greg Moore.
Today Maxwell incorporates his skill as a DJ into his Karaoke show.
That, he says, is a combination no karaoke show should be without.
Maxwell is bathing in the success of this fad like no other DJ.
Crowds in the hundreds have flocked to see the team of DJ Maxwell
and Wanda Smith who is a radio personality-comedian on the Frank
Ski Morning Show of Atlanta’s V-103 radio station.
In early 1999 Maxwell and Wanda teamed up at Chris Tuckers’ Comedy
Café and took Karaoke to another level. Attracting heavyweight celebrities
like Kelly Price, Jamie Fox, Cedric the Entertainer, and Chris Tucker.
The show also helped sign a local artist to a record deal with Kelly
Prices’ label, Big Momma Records. Maxwell brought his style of Karaoke
to Atlanta in 1994 and has worked in almost every major club in
the area.
Maxwell attributes his talent as a DJ/ singer/M.C. to his winning
karaoke showcase. As a DJ, Maxwell has an extensive library of over
5000 CDs in every genre of music. Mainly R&B, old school, disco,
east coast swing, shag, rap, country, jazz, blues, Motown, dance,
top 40, rock & roll, and reggae. With this in mind you can be
sure your party will reach its summit.

WORDS FROM A PRO:
“The first 10 minutes I start to
play music is a mixture if a lot of different styles to just
get an idea of what the audience responds to. I already have
a feel of what I should play when I walk into a room. My perception
never fails me. I know what people dance to. You need to keep
10 good songs to the side. These are used for energy boosters
or when everybody starts to exit the dance floor just because
the couple next to them did or they are really tired. Remember,
people leave the floor as a group and not just a couple at
a time. This is just something that people are unconsciously
aware of. That is when you hit them with what I call a trump
song. A song you know everyone will dance too. And oh yeah,
everyone will always dance to a slow song. When I play I want
people bouncing off the walls!”
